Carton Packaging:
Carton packaging is the ideal lightweight and cost-effective solution for smaller cast steel components. It is crucial to assess the carton’s durability and resistance to moisture. Typically, components are initially wrapped in protective plastic or bubble bags before being carefully placed in the carton. To further enhance security during transit, additional fillers are added to immobilize the parts and prevent movement.
Pallet Packaging:
Pallet packaging is the preferred method in the sphere of mass production for cast steel components. Carefully stacked on pallets, parts are then securely bound with stretch film or strapping tape, ensuring effortless handling and efficient transport by forklifts.
