Qingdao Starise Metal Technology Co., Ltd. is an industry and trade integration enterprise focusing on the research and development, production and global trade of precision casting parts. Relying on the holding factory Pingdu Sanxing Precision Casting Co., LTD. (founded in 1996), the company has been deeply engaged in the industry for 30 years, with 47,000 square meters of modern production base (including 10,000 square meters of high-standard production workshop), with an annual production capacity of more than 30,000 tons of precision steel castings, products are exported to Europe, America, Asia and other more than 20 countries and regions.


Our History:

1. Founding Period (1995-1998):
Established in 1996 in Pingdu City, Qingdao, China, the company initially focused on delivering high-quality precision casting solutions for the agricultural machinery and automotive axle industries. During this phase, it primarily manufactured small-scale precision castings using traditional silica gel precision casting technology.  


2. Technological Accumulation and Expansion (1998-2014):
In 1998, the company introduced advanced investment casting and sand casting technologies, enabling the production of medium and large-scale precision castings. In 2006, it successfully obtained ISO9001 certification, ensuring consistent quality and reliability in its casting products. Between 2009 and 2014, the company significantly expanded its production facilities, added multiple new production lines, and adopted efficient casting processes, thereby enhancing its production capacity to meet the demands of diverse, multi-batch, and customized product manufacturing.  


3. Brand Marketing (2016-2020):
In 2016, the company began prioritizing brand building by actively participating in domestic and international industry exhibitions to enhance brand recognition. In 2017, it expanded its global market presence and established long-term cooperative relationships with overseas customers. By 2020, the company had successfully developed multiple patented technologies, further improving product precision and quality.  


4. Technological Innovation and Sustainable Development (2018-2024):
In 2018, the company invested in establishing a dedicated research and development center focused on the exploration of new materials and processes. In 2019, it developed an environmentally friendly precision casting process that effectively reduced pollution emissions during production while significantly improving the quality of surface and internal defects in castings. In 2020, the company was officially recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, underscoring its achievements in technological innovation.

Processing

1 Pattern-making step in which a replica of the object to be cast is made of suitable material. The pattern is usually oversized to allow for metal shrinkage during the cooling phase

2 In the mould-making step, a sand mould is formed by packing sand into the mould around the pattern. The sand mould is divided into two halves; the top half is called the "Cope", and the bottom is called the "Drag". When the pattern is removed from the cavity, it forms remains for pouring the molten metal. Mould will have other features such as Sprue, runners, gate, pouring cup, riser etc., which will be discussed in detail later.

3 The clamping step involves the two mould halves, Cope and Drag, securely clamped together, ready for pouring metal.

4 Pouring molten metal is maintained at a set temperature. Molten metal is poured in quickly to avoid early solidification and

5 Poured molten metal will begin to cool and solidify once inside the cavity. Most of the possible sand-casting defects are introduced at this solidification stage

6 Once the cooling period elapses, the mould can be shaken out/broken off and casting

7 Trimming involves cleaning and removing the section that is connected to the main part, such as the runner, Sprue etc

  1. Rust Prevention Treatment: The surface of the cast steel parts is sprayed or smeared with high-quality rust preventives to form a dense anti-rust film, effectively preventing rust during transportation and storage.
  2. Buffer Protection: For parts prone to bumps, buffer materials such as foam boards and sponges are used for wrapping to prevent collision damage during transportation.
  3. Outer Packaging: Small cast steel parts are packaged in sturdy wooden boxes, and the inside is filled with stuffing to ensure that there is no shaking during transportation; large cast steel parts are fixed with customized metal frames or wooden frames, and if necessary, container transportation is adopted to ensure transportation safety.
